This climb was planed as solo, but on 6700feet elevation, met one couple and they ask me” can we go with you or do you like go with us". Pretty nice question. After better introduction and some safety question I answered OK.
We wake up at 1am,we were ready at 1:30am.After one h we (I) lost track and was decided to take break anyway.
I navigate by 3 crevasses until 8000 feet. And without guessing.. Decide to wait one bigger party (12) number of the lights was telling me that is guided party. I was correct. After 15 minutes we were behind them-simply and easy.
We actually pass them on 9000 plus feet (Crater), and we made break just on sunrise time start. Rest climbing was honestly...harder and we made nice to the Summit. 10724 feet at around 6am. After picturing and brake we made down to our campsite.
Short brake (1h) and we start descending to parking lot. This part was long...I think 4-5 hours. Maybe because was hot 80F or so.
Thanks Ana and Andre for memorable days on Mt .Baker.
