Carolyn Cuppage and I climbed a really crappy 3,000 foot gully to the top of Argonaut. This is a mountain you only climb once. If that. If for some reason you are possesed to grovel up this nasty pile, leave the rock shoes at home and go in hiking boots. Much more choss than clean rock.
