This was "early" morning hike. Started 8am, first short portion was muddy, then frozen and from 3000 feet elevation start snow. Followed track all the way up.
This hike is nice for me because, after trees line is open space with nice view .Trail was cowered with snow and before top was 8-10 inch of snow, cold and little windy. No one was up there yet-track was from day before or more.
Descending down saw 15-20 people going up, some in jeans, some seriously equipped.
Time to get on the top was around 3 hours.
Did I mention view...awesome? Like from everywhere Mt.Rainier was dominating on south .Immediately I made plan...tomorrow (Sunday), Camp Muir skiing...
