This was "early" morning hike. Started 8am, first short portion was muddy, then frozen and from 3000 feet elevation start snow. Followed track all the way up. |
This hike is nice for me because, after trees line is open space with nice view .Trail was cowered with snow and before top was 8-10 inch of snow, cold and little windy. No one was up there yet-track was from day before or more.
Descending down saw 15-20 people going up, some in jeans, some seriously equipped.
Time to get on the top was around 3 hours.
Did I mention view...awesome? Like from everywhere Mt.Rainier was dominating on south .Immediately I made plan...tomorrow (Sunday), Camp Muir skiing...
