I just need a membership waiver: MS Word format (35 K) | PDF format (51 K)

Note that current membership is required for all classes and activities. (Please allow 30 days to process your membership once we receive it)

Here's how to apply for WAC membership

It's easy!

Each person need an individual membership! We keep our dues small so that everyone can afford to join. We do not offer couples, joint, or family memberships. Wayward, lost or lapsed members need to reapply with this form!

1) Fill out the form below. Note that items in red with an asterisk (*) absolutely must be filled out or your application won't be accepted. Hit Submit.

2) After you hit submit, a page will come up with your application information and the membership waiver (Note: this is different from the class waivers). Print out that page (not this one, the one after you hit submit).

3) Submit and print the membership application

4) Sign and initial all places on membership waiver.

5) Mail your printed membership application, membership waiver, (signed and initialed) and check for $45 for 1 year, or more (initiation fee and dues payment) to:

The Washington Alpine Club
c/o Kristin Kaupang
7712 14th Ave SW
Seattle, WA 98106

Please note that the membership application materials must be mailed separately from class applications as they go to different people.

6) As soon as we receive your signed membership application, membership waiver, and dues payment, we will process your application (please allow 30 days) and email you information about the club and benefits of membership.
