Cancellation Policy
In order to receive a refund for the Telemark / Randonee Class, the cancellation must be made by the last day of registration. There are no refunds for no-shows or drop-outs. No partial refunds will be given nor will individual make up sessions be provided. If adverse conditions result in the closure of the entire ski area -- we will attempt to reschedule the entire class session. However if adverse driving and/or traffic conditions cause you to miss class while the ski area was still in operation and classes held -- please don't expect a special make up session.
Gear
For telemark skiers plastic telemark boots and modern shaped skis are highly recommended. Rentals are available from several local shops.
For Randonee skiers, either modern randonee gear or standard alpine equipment is OK -- The classes focus on downhill skiing skill development. For interested students there will be an optional session on uphill skills towards the end of the series.
This requires a separate WAC membership application, WAC membership waiver, and WAC membership dues payment. We try to make this very easy: Simply click the link that appears after you fill out the Telemark Class application to fill out your WAC membership application. Note that you will need to send the WAC membership stuff to a different address. But we'll tell you more about that on the WAC membership application form.
1) Fill out the application below. Items in red with an asterisk(*) absolutely must be filled out or the application won't be accepted.
2) Hit Submit. " Sign me up"
3) After you hit submit, a page will come up with your information on it as well as a ski school waiver. Print that page out (not this page, the one after you hit submit).
4) Sign the printed application & ski school waiver page. (Yes you must sign two waivers)
4) Send the printed ski school waiver & application page, and check for $130.00 to:
WAC Telemark Class C/O Jeff Knudson 7302 32 Ave. SW Seattle, WA 98126-3337
